Greg Seitz, PGA Head Golf Professional
Greg joined the Elkhorn staff in 2005 shortly after the course renovation. With 12 years of teaching experience he is a valuable asset to the Teaching Staff here at Elkhorn. Having gained much of his golf knowledge from a 50+ year PGA member, Greg's teaching style is grounded in the emphasis of solid fundamentals and clear communication. The past couple of summers, Greg has carved out a little niche in setting up several very successful Junior clinics.
Tim Mahoney, PGA Teaching Professional
With 20 years teaching experience, Tim is rated as one of the country's Top 100 instructors by both GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest. He has authored over 100 published instruction articles and has been featured seven times in Golf Digest cover stories. Tim's commitment to helping golfers improve is evident in his involvement in many areas of the industry, including lecturing at teaching seminars, consulting in the development of computer software for golf swing analysis, and assisting in the development of learning centers and practice facilities worldwide.
Ryan Metzger, PGA Assistant Golf Professional
The newest member to the team at Elkhorn, Ryan is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at the University of Idaho. Ryan's work experience before joining the staff at Elkhorn includes working at The Valley Club (Hailey, ID), Bear Creek Country Club (Woodinville, CA), Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club (Clio, CA), and Awbrey Glen Country Club (Bend, OR). In addition to the knowledge gained through the various clubs, he as also achieved a speciality Certification in Teaching through the PGA. |
